Nothing Phone 1 and Nothing Ear 1

Someone literally created something out of nothing, and called that nothing, nothing. Confusing? Don’t worry, it gets easy to figure out.

So, this guy, Carl Pei, a Swedish Internet entrepreneur who has co-founded OnePlus back in 2013, started this new hardware venture, called Nothing, a London-based consumer technology company.

The company gathered a number of investors, including iPod creator Tony Fadell, Twitch co-founder Kevin Lin, Reddit CEO Steve Huffman and YouTuber Casey Neistat.

On Feb. 2021, the company announced Teenage Engineering as founding partners, primarily responsible for the design aesthetic of the brand and its products.

Currently the company has two products, the Nothing Ear 1 and the Nothing Phone 1.
